We
are Discalced Carmelite Nuns of Cleveland, Ohio, a community
whose primary service in the Church is a life of unceasing
prayer. We respond to the call of Jesus Christ by living out
gospel values within the unfolding mystery of the Teresian
charism in our age and culture. In fidelity to our ancient
Carmelite heritage, we live as solitaries who cherish and
build loving community. Both individually and communally,
we embrace the invitation to the fullness of union with God,
and therefore, we accept the challenge of ongoing conversion.
We commit our lives and dedicate our energies to furthering
God’s presence and activity in the human family and in
all creation. |
